This 1984 Raleigh Quaser is truly in top condition. The frame is made from high-quality double-butted Reynolds 501 steel meaning a solid but light and capable bicycle. There are almost no imperfections on the frame and the grey/blue two-toned metallic paint work is somehow both eye-catching and understated.

At the time, Raleigh Quaser model had some pretty innovative features such as an elongated (elliptical) down tube, concealed brake cables and track-like geometry drop-down bars. These little features all spoke to the dominant trend of the time which saw many innovations all aimed at increasing the aerodynamics of bicycles.

The bike has all original components Suntour Aero rear derailleur 6x2 gears, Sugino GT double crankset, Sachs Huret shifter and front derailleur, Weinmann Type 500 black brakeset, Shimano Adamas brake levers. The Concor saddle is in exquisite condition. The Sakai/Ringyo handlebars have a really nice geometry.
